Our Circle of Good
Heart of Compassion is working to build a sustainable community where resources are used efficiently to meet social and economic needs of the community while preserving the environment’s ability to support it. Socially responsible companies keep usable goods from being thrown away and have their donated goods given a second life to people in need. In turn, communities surrounding churches and community centers are strengthened by having immediate essential needs met and building relationships to provide resources that can help break the cycle of poverty.
Our Circle of Good contributes to the stability of families making South Carolina become a better place for all to live. The donations we receive from local businesses are repurposed to help close the need gap for people in poverty and hardship. Repurposing donations that would otherwise have gone to the landfill helps reduce waste, increase sustainability and provide non-food essential items for people in need.
